The Fourth of July celebrations are upon us! As usual, I’ll be celebrating Lexington-style. I know there are lots of traditions around Kentucky on the Fourth of July and different communities have wonderful, unique festivities. Tell me what you and/or your community does to celebrate our Nation’s independence!

I always register 4th of July although being a Brit I'm not really celebrating it – mainly as the 5th July is my birthday so I'm celebrating that instead.
That's OK… at last night's patriotic concert I actually had a conversation with a man named Ali who came to the states six months ago from Baghdad, Iraq. He was pretty stoked about all the festivities!
